Helmlane for Mac

The Mac app signs you in and connects the computer; the agent it installs runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the rest in the folders you approve. Everything it needs is included — no Node.js, Homebrew or developer tools.

  • macOS 13.5 or later
  • Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) — Intel Macs are not supported
  • Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple

After installing

  1. Sign in. Open Helmlane and sign in or create an account. Signing in connects this Mac — there is no separate step.
  2. Choose folders. Pick the project folders agents may work in. Nothing else on the Mac is visible to Helmlane.
  3. Add your phone. Scan the code the Mac app shows with the Helmlane app on your phone, or sign in at app.helmlane.com.

Computer

Linux and Windows (WSL 2)

No desktop app, just the agent: it installs as your user without root, brings its own runtime, and runs as a service that keeps going after you log out. Any recent glibc distribution on x86-64 or arm64, including Windows through WSL 2.

In the app, open Add computer and choose Linux or Windows with WSL. It gives you this command with a single-use token:
